A few ideas for inspiration that may be applied for your own design or as part of Zuri's ECA challenge activities

  1. Speak up as a consumer: Write companies you support through purchasing asking them to become more environmental (reduce waste, set standards for producers they purchase product/raw materials from; change something specific)

  2. Policy: Get involved in local, state, federal, or global policy action or groups already doing this.

  3. Learn – Study a book or research an environmental topic that you are interested in.

  4. Take Action: plant trees, pick up garbage

  5. Create: artistically express environmental consciousness

  6. Lifestyle: Identify and change habits you want to. For example try the Zero Waste challenge or pick a few areas in your life to change your habits.

  7. Meditation or personal experience connecting with nature or environmental questions. For example, take a walk everyday and journal or note something that you experienced.

  8. Connect: support or get involved in other environmental work/projects. Volunteer, spread the word about or donate to a project you feel has a lot of integrity that you want to support. Try to learn about the people/wildlife/ecosystems your support is connected to.
